A Few Pinterest Projects

I always find tons of cute ideas on Pinterest but that is what they stay as, ideas. Here are a few projects that I actually completed from Pinterest.

PROJECT 1:  A portable growth chart. I just whitewashed a 1X4 and then woodburned the measuring marks and the Jacobson symbol at the top. I loved how it turned out. The kids get excited every year on their Birthdays when we measure them. We even have a few friends marks and a few cousins. So fun!!!!

PROJECT 2: Every time I would clean our office, I always would find Matthews missionary nametag laying around and one day I saw this on Pinterest and I absolutely loved the idea. I just cut the pocket off of an old white shirt and hot glued it to the back of a shadow box. Then I added his missionary nametag. I think it turned out great. I love the way it looks above his Missionary Plaque. It hangs in our living room for all to see. It is such a huge accomplishment and something I want Logan to see and have a desire to do!!!!

Logan and Ashlee like to rush into your room when you wake up from a nap and you greet them every time with a big smile. You love to be where everyone else is and we love having you around. You love sucking on your shirt, blanket and especially your thumb. You have started eating food this month, because your bottle of formula just isnt cutting it. An Early Morning Visit From Papa

Papa Duck drives truck and hauls heavy equipment. He had to make a delivery to the Hagerman bridge so he stopped by on his way back to Utah. It was a very quick visit but the kids loved seeing his truck.
