CUTE!

I thought she looked cute in her outfit. I put a hat on because we spent time outside. She sure is getting quite the personality. She is a happy baby and smiles most of the time, but she is a serious baby. I remember Logan just giggling a lot by now, and Ashlee just smiles and give a few little laughs here and there. I am just amazed at how different they are. Love them both very much though :)!

New Projects Ahead

I am pretty excited I finally have a sewing machine :)! I havent done anything with a sewing machine since my freshman year in high school, so I have a lot of learning to do. I am excited to get started. I am wanting to learn how to make cute little dresses for Ashlee and also pjs for both Logan and Ashlee. I can't wait!

Here is a flower that I learned how to make the other day. It requires a little hand sewing and was actually pretty fun and easy to make. It sure is going to be fun getting fabric to make these too!

Easter Sunday

So we had Stake Conference and it was a perfect day for the kiddos to wear their new Easter outfits. It was a Regional Stake Conference so everyone was able to come to the Filer Stake Center for it. So all the Jacobsons were together and the all the kids had fun playing with each other during church :)! Then we all went to Flint and Lisas to enjoy the day together. We had a yummy lunch but they always are. We all sat around and talked while Lisa hid the Easter Eggs and then it was time for the big hunt. It was fun to watch all the kids find their eggs. Then we just enjoyed the rest of the day together. Love getting together with everyone, it always is fun and makes for some good MEMORIES :)!

My camera was on the wrong setting and Logan just wouldnt cooperate so this is all we got. So we are going to take the kids to have their pictures taken professionally in their very cute Easter clothes.

He looked so handsome, but he wouldnt even sit still for just one decent picture.

Good thing she cant move. She looked so cute in her dress!

One Beautiful Little Girl!

Yep- Happy Easter!

At least we can sit still.

Sorry its blurry. Ashlee with mom and dad!

Hunting Eggs at Grandma and Grandpa Jacobson's

Logan and Hailey enjoying Tiannas yummy cupcakes :)!

Yummy!

After a long day of playing they settled down for a while to enjoy Spongebob!

Another Easter come and gone and lots of fun memories with an awesome FAMILY :)!

Easter Weekend

What an Easter Weekend it was! We celebrated Easter on Saturday with having my mom come out and enjoy the afternoon together. We ate lunch, opened Easter Baskets, had an Easter Egg Hunt and then we finished by coloring Easter Eggs. It sure was a fun day!

To start things off Logan took Grandma to see the water (canal) and to throw rocks in it.

Good Morning and Happy Easter!

The Easter Bunny made a stop at our house this year!

Logans Loot: A couple kites, a Spongebob puzzle, bat and ball, water gun, disc gun, coloring book and crayola twistables, rubber band air planes, camo boots and of course candy. Elefun was a combined present for Ashlee and Logan.

Ashlees Loot: A seahorse, a teething toy/rattle, clothes, socks, food and food nursers.

I am pretty excited about these food nursers. My cousin showed me these and I thought that I needed them. You can put any type of baby food in them. I am using them right now to introduce rice cereal to Ashlee, and these are nice so that I dont have to cut the nipples of my bottles. I think they are pretty sweet!

Now Logan has boots to wear to go help daddy on the weekends feed horses and cows. And they are going to be much easier for me to clean after playing outside. Good Job Easter Bunny :)!

Going through his Easter Basket and this is what he gives us for pictures lately. He is such a little turd, he wont just smile at the camera so this will have to do.

Carrot Bat and Ball

Grandma and Ashlee enjoying her seahorse.

Yep she is soaked clear through her shirt. I sure have had too of the biggest slobberers ever. But still so cute.

Headed outside to find some Easter Eggs!

Hunting Easter Eggs

All he wanted to do was open the eggs one at a time and eat all the candy inside.

Ashlee enjoyed being outside and it was actually a nice enough day for her to be outside. She loved Phantom and didnt cry when he licked her.

Opening more eggs with Daddy!

This was fun to do with Logan. He was pretty egg-cited, to color eggs. This is the first year that we have done this with him. He had such a good time and even though I did 15 eggs, it sure wasnt enough.

He just thought it was the coolest thing ever.

His first official Easter Egg. Yep its pink, because he just threw it in one of the cups.

All is eggs the first time in the coloring cups.

He put them all back in a second time and the colors were even better. Good Job Logan!

Ended the day with playin Elefun for quite a while :)!

Thanks to Matthew, Mom, Logan and Ashlee for making this one awesome Easter Saturday. We sure had fun watching Logan and Ashlee enjoy the day and the sunshine. There is no better way to spend the day than with FAMILY!

4 Months Old!!

On Tuesday the 12th, Ashlee turned 4 months old! Crazy! She is growing but slowly. I cant believe just how different her and Logan are. Their personalities are completely opposite and besides the fact that Ashlee is a girl and Logan is a boy, they are completely opposite physically. Ashlee is pretty much below the average in all categories and Logan was always in the 90% in all categories. These were her stats at her appointment on Wednesday:

WEIGHT: 11 LBS 2 OZ
LENGTH: 24.5 INCHES

I just cant believe how tiny she is. Her weight might be a little lower than it should because she has had diarrhea for the past 10 days. She seems to be feeling better so hopefully we can get some more weight on her. The doctor wasn't concerned with anything, so I think she is just going to be a tiny thing. All I know is that she is healthy and active so no worries here. We sure LOVE our little MISS ASHLEE!

She smiles ALL the time!

She has been eating her hands, because her top teeth are trying to come in :)! Cant keep her pants up around her waist, these are some new 0-3 month clothes I found while cleaning out her dresser today and they are still to baggy on her.

Ashlee Nicole 4 months old!

And just because it is fun to see here is Logan at 4 months and his stats:

WEIGHT: 16 LBS 13 OZ
HEIGHT: 26.25 INCHES

Too Cute!!!

4 YEARS

Wow 4 years ago Matthew and I were married for time and all eternity in the Bounitful Utah Temple. It was such an amazing day. We were blessed to have so many family and friends there to support us on the best day of our lives. These past four years have definitely been the best adventure we have been on. We have had our ups and downs and I like to think that we have more ups than downs. We have enjoyed being married and look forward to many more years together. We have been blessed with two wonderful children and wouldnt want our life any different. I truly did marry my best friend and I LOVE HIM VERY MUCH!

So since it is our 4th Anniversary I am going to write 4 things that I love about Matthew and each year I will add one more thing to the list.

  1. He truly is MY BETTER HALF. We are similiar in many ways and different in many ways. He makes up for where I lack and I wouldnt want it any other way. He pushes me to be better and I love that about him. I am a true women and run off my emotions more than I need to, and he is there to calm me down and help me realize what things are important and what things I need to just let go.
  2. He is truly a very understanding and loving husband. THE BEST HUSBAND EVER! He has to put up with me! I bet that I am hard to live with at times, but he never really complains about anything. I can get after him over things and he is just so calm and patient with me. He treats we with love and respect and I appreciate it and Love him very much.
  3. The BEST FATHER! He is so patient and will go out of his way to help take care of the kids. I absolutely love to watch him with Logan and Ashlee. He loves to play and talk to them. I can see how much they love him. I love to hear Logan yell DADDY when Matt walks in the door from work and I love that he runs and gives him a hug and kiss when he walks out the door to go to work. He truly is an amazing father!
  4. He is definitely a BIG KID! He loves to have fun and has a great sense of humor. He is always making me laugh and he can always make me smile when I am having a bad day. He really is just a big kid at heart, and I need to appreciate it a little more. I am always so serious and I need to find that kid in me a little more often. He really does find the best in everything and is always so happy. I love the big kid that I am married to.

Beautiful Day 4.14.2007

HAPPY 4th ANNIVERSARY TO US!!!

Business Is Good

So last year we started a website where I am selling bows, flowers, and headbands. This year I added marabou butterflies, dragonflies and fairy flowers. Matthew has been crazy busy at figuring out the marketing on the Internet. He has done a pretty good job. We didn't sell much last year, just pretty much tried to get all the stuff I needed to get it up and running. So this year we are just trying to get the word out about our products and our website. Last month was a pretty good month and this month is going great too! I have sold products to people in New York, Texas, and I just finished a big custom order for a lady in Tennessee. I cant forget also that I have sold to people locally also! I am just excited that we are starting to make a little money and starting to get a customer base. It is pretty exciting and I just hope that things continue to pick up.

Here is the dress that I was sent a picture of to match bows and a little pair of pantaloons to. These are Easter dresses, I think they are beautiful.

Here are the little Bo Peep Style capri length pantaloons my mom sewed for this project. Thanks Mom!

Then I added some bows to the side of each leg.

These are two fo the 4 bows I made for this customer.

Here are the other two. All the bows go with 4 dresses that are the one pictured above.
This project was fun to work on. The customer was wonderful to work with and she loved everything!!!
