Easter Weekend

What an Easter Weekend it was! We celebrated Easter on Saturday with having my mom come out and enjoy the afternoon together. We ate lunch, opened Easter Baskets, had an Easter Egg Hunt and then we finished by coloring Easter Eggs. It sure was a fun day!

To start things off Logan took Grandma to see the water (canal) and to throw rocks in it.

Good Morning and Happy Easter!

The Easter Bunny made a stop at our house this year!

Logans Loot: A couple kites, a Spongebob puzzle, bat and ball, water gun, disc gun, coloring book and crayola twistables, rubber band air planes, camo boots and of course candy. Elefun was a combined present for Ashlee and Logan.

Ashlees Loot: A seahorse, a teething toy/rattle, clothes, socks, food and food nursers.

I am pretty excited about these food nursers. My cousin showed me these and I thought that I needed them. You can put any type of baby food in them. I am using them right now to introduce rice cereal to Ashlee, and these are nice so that I dont have to cut the nipples of my bottles. I think they are pretty sweet!

Now Logan has boots to wear to go help daddy on the weekends feed horses and cows. And they are going to be much easier for me to clean after playing outside. Good Job Easter Bunny :)!

Going through his Easter Basket and this is what he gives us for pictures lately. He is such a little turd, he wont just smile at the camera so this will have to do.

Carrot Bat and Ball

Grandma and Ashlee enjoying her seahorse.

Yep she is soaked clear through her shirt. I sure have had too of the biggest slobberers ever. But still so cute.

Headed outside to find some Easter Eggs!

Hunting Easter Eggs

All he wanted to do was open the eggs one at a time and eat all the candy inside.

Ashlee enjoyed being outside and it was actually a nice enough day for her to be outside. She loved Phantom and didnt cry when he licked her.

Opening more eggs with Daddy!

This was fun to do with Logan. He was pretty egg-cited, to color eggs. This is the first year that we have done this with him. He had such a good time and even though I did 15 eggs, it sure wasnt enough.

He just thought it was the coolest thing ever.

His first official Easter Egg. Yep its pink, because he just threw it in one of the cups.

All is eggs the first time in the coloring cups.

He put them all back in a second time and the colors were even better. Good Job Logan!

Ended the day with playin Elefun for quite a while :)!

Thanks to Matthew, Mom, Logan and Ashlee for making this one awesome Easter Saturday. We sure had fun watching Logan and Ashlee enjoy the day and the sunshine. There is no better way to spend the day than with FAMILY!
