Christmas Eve 2015

Can you believe it is already Christmas Eve?! This year has definitely gone by super fast. We always look forward to Christmas Eve and the fun that we are going to have. We were able to get together with the Jacobson's and enjoy the day with family playing games, eating, talking and the kids getting to have fun playing together. We always look forward to a visit from Santa!!!!

Logan sat on Santa's lap and gave him the longest list of things he wanted that I have ever heard. Ashlee is my shy child and she sat on his lap but when she gets nervous she kept playing with his beard. Mishagan wanted nothing to do with him, but by the time he got ready to leave I convinced her to at least sit on his lap for a picture and then she jumped off as fast as she could.

Santa even left every family an enormous stocking filled with goodies!!

This year the kids acted out the Nativity, they did a great job and I think they all had fun.

We don't get family pictures very often, in fact the last pictures we have are when Mishagan was 3 months old. Yikes she is 2 years old now. We really need to work on keeping pictures updated. At least we were able to snap some good ones with everyone in our Christmas outfits. These were even worthy enough to make it on the wall! Yay! Finally!!

Childhood Dreams

So I remember as a kid wanting a kitty or puppy surprise. It was they one toy that I wanted that I never got. So when my dad called me to see what Ashlee wanted for her birthday, he asked me if she would like a kitty surprise and I told him that I think she would love one. (while also mentioning that I wanted one when I was a kid). So he thought he would be clever and he got me a puppy surprise. It made me laugh. It is pretty funny and awesome. I have two happy girls who now have a puppy and a kitty surprise to play with. Thank dad for making my dreams come true, 20 + years later :)!!!!

Sweet Miss Ashlee is 5!!!

This sweet little girl turned 5!! And to say she was excited would be an understatement. She has been counting down to turning 5 for about a month.

This year for birthdays each kid got streamers in two door ways, in their favorite color and the number of years they were turning. Ashlee had pink, of course and 5 in each doorway. Then they got a table full of some of their favorite treats. They all loved the idea, now to come up with a special idea for next year!

She surely got spoiled this year, magformers,, nail polish, clothes, and the whole set of paw patrol toys, a new paw patrol movie, kitty surprise and roller skates. She loved everything and was grateful to have family there to celebrate with her. 

I cant say enough about this sweet little girl. She is such a joy to have in our family. She absolutely loves to help me and loves spending time with me. We cook, clean, shop, play games, and just enjoy being together. She loves hanging out with her Big brother Logan. She still looks forward to sleeping in his room when he doesn't have school. She loves having a sister, but they haven't quite figured out how to get along, like her and Logan. But I hope they figure it out soon. She is super active and loves to be doing something. She loves to swing when she is outside. She has an incredible voice, she loves to sing, and you can find her making up her own songs and singing wherever she goes. She is a little spit fire and has a lot of determination. She is going to do great things. She is starting to show signs of being shy in front of large groups and gets embarrassed. Sure cant wait to see what she will accomplish as she continues to grow!!
