Ready for this Baby

I am so ready for this little man to get here. I just have a few small things that I need to get done. I am going to try and get a few freezer meals tucked away, I need to get the car seat in the van and my hospital bag put together. I hope these last 2-1/2 weeks fly by.

Catching Some ZZZZZZ's

We have been married for almost 9 years and we have finally bought our very own mattress. We spent a day laying on tons of mattress, which wouldn't be a big deal, but I am only two weeks from having Porter. There were some really nice ones and there were some really crappy ones. But we found one that Matt and I could agree on at Sears, so while we were at it we got the girls a double mattress so they can hopefully sleep better in their room as well. We are sure ready to get some better sleep.

February Rugrats

So I did a little early spring cleaning hoping to get things less cluttery before Porter gets here. Logan was also a rockstar about getting rid of some of his toys, It always feels great to get rid of stuff that is just laying around to make room for some new stuff

 Miss Ashlee got the privilege of taking a quick trip with Grandma Rie to Boise. They took Grandma Jaynes up to Boise to stay with Uncle Jerry, She was so excited and had a blast!

February's Project

Only a month until our sweet little Porter will be here and we have a few projects that need to get done. We are redoing the girl's room to make it more functional and to maybe help Ashlee and Mishagan hopefully sleep better.

Also we needed to figure out where to put Porters clothes, so mom redid this dresser and it is incredible. I love it and we are so excited for Porter to get here.

Logans Winter Report Card

Logan is loving school and doing very well. We are so proud of him!!!!

Project Time

Flint and Lisa went on a cruise for 21 days and they gave my mom and I permission to paint a few rooms in their house, My mom and I love having a project to do and we had some down time this month seeing as how it is January, So naturally we needed a few little helpers.

We were able to get three rooms done. We painted the bathroom white and did accent colors of navy blue and lime green. Then we added a bedspread, curtains, and hung pictures on the wall in the blue room, And the biggest project was painting their bedroom. We painted it brown, with a ragging off technique. We had a good time getting to spend so much time together working on a project. I always love having my mom help me with a project.

This was a fun project that Logan and I made for his teachers Christmas present. Ms Oglesbee''s favorite color is purple so we made her a purple box. I think I will be using this idea throughout 2016.
