A Week With Tianna and Richard

It has been about 7 months since we last saw Tianna and Richard. They arrived in Salt Lake on Friday June 29th. Flint and Lisa went and picked them up and they got back to Twin early evening so a few of us went swimming at 1000 Springs, because we had free passes that were going to expire the next day. It was fun and great to see them.

Saturday we hung out had dinner and played games like we always do, everyone was there.

Sunday everyone has church at different times so we didn't all get together.

Monday night we all got together out at Nat-Soo-Pah and got to spend the evening swimming. Logan loved the slide and kept going down it over and over and over again. Both him and Ashlee love swimming, which means we need to do it more often.

Tuesday everyone got back together. We talked, played games, ate food, had family home evening, and then had a camp out at Flint and Lisa's. We didn't stay outside, because Logan lately has been just wanting to be in his own bed, and also because Matthew and I had to get up early to run in the Fun run the next morning before the 4th of July Parade.

Wednesday- Lisa, Dylan, Maricela, Laura, Matthew and I participated in the Fun 5K Run/Walk before the parade. Then everyone met up at the parade. After the parade we went back to Flint and Lisas for our Annual Jacobson 4th of July celebration (I will make an entire post about all our fun).

Thursday- We were able to go to Hagerman and go rafting. Flint has his own raft and so we get to go at least one a year :)! It is always a blast. We took Logan 2 years ago and he did horrible. He cried the whole way down. So we decided that we would try again this year to see how he would handle it. He did great!! He thought it was fun and had a smile on his face the whole way down. Way to Go Logan!! I was going to take Ashlee, but decided that maybe she needs to be a little older. It was a great day! It is always fun to spend time with family and have soooo much fun.

Friday- Tianna and Richard had to leave. So the kids and I went and said our good-byes. It was sad that they had to leave, but it was sure a good and fun week :)!

Saturday and Sunday: Two days spent resting from the week of fun had with everyone :)!
