| Christmas Tree 2013 |
So it is time to get our tree! We also try to get our tree as soon as we can after Thanksgiving. This year we loaded up the car and headed to Twin to the Lloyd Family Christmas Tree lot. We were able to go the same night that Flint and Lisa went, that way we could use their truck to haul our tree. It sure wasn't a very warm night to go. When we got the the tree lot, the kids were asleep and when we got out of the car the wind was blowing and it started snowing. So the snow was pelting us and we all walked around for a few minutes and found our tree and then the kids ran and jumped back in the car. It was Mishagan's first time going to pick a Christmas tree and she spent it asleep in her car seat. This year I had to be careful and not let my eyes be bigger than they were supposed to be. I always want the biggest, fullest tree and then it is hard to fit it into our house. This year we did however find the perfect tree. In Logan's words," Its not to big and its not to little, its just right huh mom." And my reply you did a great job helping pick the tree Logan. We didn't have to cut anything off the tree this year. Now its time to decorate. We stayed up until 12:00 am decorating the tree because the kids didn't want to go to bed until it was decorated!!! It was a fun night!!!!

| Jacobson Christmas Tree 2013 |
We are starting a new tradition of letting everyone open their ornaments when we decorate the tree. In the years past they have been in the stockings and we put them on the tree Christmas morning. Now we will get to enjoy the ornaments of a month instead of a week.
