Hanging Out With Grandma

So I am a bit behind on blogging but oh well. So on July 2nd the kids and I headed to Twin to meet up with my mom. We just stopped in to see her and then get all the groceries we would need for all the 4th of July festivities. We had fun hanging out and here are a few pictures of our adventure.

Logan was playing outside and saw two beautiful butterflies and he just kept following them around the yard.

He wouldnt look at the camera and just wanted to chase the butterflies.

We grab lunch and headed to Candy Cane park to let Logan play!

He loved every minute and he didnt want to leave, but can you blame him, this is way better than the swing set we have at home :)!

Climbing up the tube.

Slidin down :)!

My mom went down the big slide with Logan a few times and then we couldnt get him to stop.

Cute Logan having fun!

The only way he would climb up to the slide.

Grandma and Ashlee hanging out in the shade.

When you play hard you crash hard. He is holding on to his picture of him and grandma riding the elephant.
It was a fun day and we are always glad for the days we get to go to Twin and hang out with Grandma!

This past Friday the 15th of July, mom was planning on heading down to Utah to help my Uncle Alan grout his back splash in his kitchen. I figured that I didnt really have much going on so we tagged along for the ride.

Logan trying out his new dvd player, Lightning McQueen might I add. He did okay with it, but only watched about 10 minutes at a time. He loved to just look out the window.

One cute and tired little girl. She sleep pretty much the whole way to Layton.
While Uncle Alan. mom and I grouted the back-splash Carter entertained the kids. He brought in a few of their baby kittens and that was enough to keep them entertained.

Ashlee thought that they were pretty cute and when she got a hold of it, there was no chance for the kitten.

Sometimes it got to close and to playful and she wasnt so sure about it.

Yep this is how Logan would carry them all around the house, poor kitten, I bet it was happy when we left.

He sure did have fun playing with them.

The Finished Project. Looks good!

We finished and got to meet up with Donny, Vicki, Bill, Spencer and Abbey for dinner. Here is Abbey and Vicki with Ashlee.
Sure was a quick trip, but a fun one :)!
